1. Gotta love the republican "when's my bailout gonna come?"

that makes NO SENSE when Obama's stimulus package is going to transportation infrastructure and education. The republicans are going to have serious problems blocking this especially if Obama tours the country to promote the plan.

The only thing the republicans and the main stream media can do now is continue to focus on blago.

4. The pukelicans would have objected to infrastructure spending regardless.

Even if there were no previous bail-outs, the pugs would have complained. They hate spending money that doesn't go directly to their "constituents", and by that I mean campaign donors. Construction isn't a high profit yield business that concentrates wealth appropriately in their opinion. Heavy defense spending and tax cuts for the wealthy on the other hand are things they never oppose.

We could end this stupid recession by just not spending on our outrageous defense budget.

If we could reduce our military expenditures, then maybe we could use that money for other things like paying down the national debt ($10 trillion).
