1. Like anyone cares what that dooshbag says.
He was on TV the other day, talking about how he'd predicted the economic crisis months ago. Any jerk with half a brain predicted it. It was talked about incessantly all over the news and the internets.

He's just a blowhard who needs to pay more taxes.

36. If he said the sky was blue, I'd verify first
He's a dishonest crook. He used his charity to do for-profit blood diamond mining work for his company and was a friend to some of the most bloodthirsty dictators in the world. I remember him lobbying the State Department on behalf of the murderous Mobutu Sese Seko. Currently he's chummy with the Chinese government while they oppress Christians.

Anything he says, especially as a Christian, is suspect.

3. Those evangelical loons grade pretty generously to their own....
If this idiot gets a C-, there can't be any D's in his class. What a butt hole.

However, who gives a rat's ass what this goof ball has to say about anything. I wish he would vanish from this planet soon. I can't stand his devilish smile. Satan is waiting for this prick.

"BEWARE FALSE PROPHETS" They are both pronounced by me and most of the world to be insane and dangerous looooonatics hiding under the powerful devils cloak of loud but totally phony religion; Preaching a hate that is totally anathema to that of Jesus.

25. You have that backwards
Liberty Hall was the original name. It became George Washington University in 1796, and Washington and Lee in 1870.

Given his level of hypocrisy, I find it difficult to believe that Robertson actually believes in God, Jesus, or the Bible as "the Word of God". He's a manipulator of people who's taken it to a high art form. It's easy to see from the outside but he sure has his grip on a lot of people.

31. Well his party is out of power for one.
I have a friend who could not agree with Bush quicker on any policy for the last 8 years. After Obama was elected, he started telling people he was a democrat and pretending like he didn't really agree with Bush. Since the damage done by this administration is so clear and so widespread, I think alot of people will be trying to distance themselves from Bush and the damage done. Alot of people already have, but this is Pat Robertson after all.

13. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of the bashing of the 'Wall Street bail-out'...
You know what? If the White House/Congress had not given the banks the money they needed, the banks would all have collapsed and the economy would be in such a disastrous state it would make this current crisis look like a fairy tale.

Also, Robertson, the die-hard evangelical righ-wing fundie, is glad with Obama's cabinet picks, which he describes as "middle of the road". That should tell y'all something...

The banks that got the bailout money used it to buy other banks! Where's the crash? That's such pure bullshit! The bailout was the biggest heist in the history of the world.

No, I don't like Wall Street either... Yes, if we want the economy to survive we had to give them the money. All the railing against it is, like I said, a reactionary reflex.

22. No, this is not a "reactionary reflex...." That's bullshit, too.
When banks tell us that they are going under without bailout money and then they use that money to buy other banks, that's bullshit, friend. We never needed to "save" them. That's just plain old logic.

I am amazed at his assesment of Obama though. He'll be bringing a whole lot of people on board if Pat Robertson is agreeable.

That being said, you give these folks an inch and they'll take your head. Look at how fast they turned on repubs once their sons and daughters started dying. Their support will be fickle at best, and at great cost imo.

30. I thought that I was perceptive.... not so much
As I was watching the clip, I was thinking to myself.... "He must have lost alot of money". Well, the first thing that Cenk said was exactly that. So apparently it is not just me being a master of reading people, but something that is pretty obvious. My first thought is HA HA HA. I see so many people that blindly follow this administration and support these really horrible policies thinking that it somehow does not affect them. Then when it does, they have a sudden change of heart. A lot of people who voted for this tool have lost jobs, probably know somebody who is fighting overseas, lost alot of money, had their jobs outsourced, etc. I wonder at some point if these people ever make the connection.

Way back in 1988, I had this girlfriend who was a religious-wacko. She was in a college/church
group that was promoting Pat Robertson for POTUS. Even then, I knew he was a false prophet & the girlfriend & I soon parted company. I am still amazed that thinking people buy into what these charlatans are selling.
