Sounds like some kind of segregation.

As a sissy who got beaten up, mentally and physically and emotionally, in an all boy jock prep school, I would like to say that if the adults (teachers, principals) didn't hate gays or were just petrified to even talk about it, the student bullies might not get away with so much.
Of course back then in the early 70's I'd have liked to know I wasn't alone... the only gay guy! At least they don't have to put up with that anymore!
