Saw Maria Bartiromo on CNBC earlier with mcC & Palin, discussing redistribution among other things. Didn't hear the whole bit, and Maria's pretty sharp, but maybe she (and others over there) should be informed by Harwood etc. Maybe you should suggest that he do a 'lecture' for 'pundits,' or whatever they call themselves, on the subject!

With that said, you know what really struck me about this video? Mika Brezinski sat there

Basically, a beautiful, young, athletic, married woman who was an intern for Joe ended up dead in his office with the back of her skull cracked in. A coroner, who had lost his license in two other states for malpractice, declared that she had passed out and hit her head on a desk and died, but there was forensic evidence that suggested otherwise, plus the coroner was an obvious hack. I think Joe might have some sketchy alibi for the night in question - she was found in his FL office and he claims to have been in DC at or near the time of the event, but everyone is acting extremely guilty and suspicious about it.

The fact that it occurred at exactly the same time that the media was having a fit about Gary Condit and his missing intern, practically condemning the guy without evidence, adds the appropriate ironic its-OK-if-you're-a-Republican icing. This story was hushed up and ignored by the media. And Joe immediately got out of politics and surprise surprise, landed a cushy media job, despite having a weasel face and nothing new to offer as far as ideas.

So, that's that. The intern's husband and other family seem to be intimidated into silence about her death, which clearly seems to be a murder.

Harwood should have answered the question about size of government under McCain vs Obama by pointing out that under Bush, whose policies McCain supported over ninety percent of the time, the size of the U.S. government, the yearly budget deficit, and the national debt are all at record levels and are all larger than at any time in U.S. history.
