This one is personal. 1987 Easter a Child of 20 months was sent into God's Arms. The Person who did it got life. But no Child should be abused. For Little Bobby Our Little Man

3. Again, I am so sorry

My grandmother lost an infant son to illness in 1917. I heard of this son all my life-she never forgot him, never gave up mourning for him-until she herself passed away. I feel that you airing this in honor of the boy is a great tribute to him. May it bring some solace to your soul.

4. If you know someone who "loses it" with their child, tell them

they can get help. They can go to anger management classes. They can seek counseling. Go with the person. Don't accuse. Listen. Tell them they can learn better ways to discipline their children than hitting or beating them.

When you go to the grocery store and you see parents who are angry with their children, stop and smile and tell them you know how hard it is and what a beautiful child they have. Every child is beautiful. Every child deserves to be loved and to feel good about being who he or she is.

Being a parent is so difficult. It takes enormous patience. Many parents are pretty much on their own -- parenting 24 hours a day with no family or friends to relieve the stress of providing for their children and dealing with their physical and emotional and material needs. It is a huge job. Each of us needs to support every parent we know. Being a parent is the toughest job in the world. And what is more, it is the most important work any of us will ever do.
