21. What, you mean Judas?
I was hesitant about Lieberman when he ran for VP, but I overlooked it. He is a discredit to his people.

9. Am I wrong here, but did Obama go to Joe's driveway? I was under the impression that
Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 01:42 AM by Bobbieo
Joe approached Obama when he was talking with other people on the street.
Is this another McCain lie??

From the video - "Last weekend, Senator Obama showed up in Joe's driveway to ask for his vote, and Joe asked Senator Obama a tough question. I'm glad he did; I think Senator Obama could use a few more tough questions," McCain told supporters. "The response from Senator Obama and his campaign yesterday was to attack Joe. People are digging through his personal life and he has TV crews camped out in front of his house. He didn't ask for Senator Obama to come to his house. He wasn't recruited or prompted by our campaign. He just asked a question. And Americans ought to be able to ask Senator Obama tough questions without being smeared and targeted with political attacks."

11. McCain's Hypocrisy.
Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 01:41 AM by DavidG
Fancy McCain, who is part of the rip-off, elitist Republican party, appearing to be standing up for a plumber. It just shows what politicians will do for a vote, especially American politicians.

As a non-American, it turns my stomach!

22. The Republicans have a talent...
...for talking average Americans into giving up their money to the wealthy. Talk about your spreading the wealth! That's the only part that's "trickle-up"!

12. Funny...
I think that electing McKampf would be the most likely way for Joe the Plumber to get laid off.

He needs props. These people are lunatics. And not in a good way.

16. This faux populism from the elite class warriors is so fake and disgusting.
All of these people make me sick. The institutions and entitlements we have known and taken for granted for the past few decades will soon be gone, regardless of who is elected (because of the bailout, skyrocketing energy prices, and the cost of the Iraq Occupation, it is now an inevitability). Obama would certainly be the better alternative, but there isn't much he can do.

17. Huh?
Not that I believe Obama has really made much mention of Joe. Who the devil brought the Joe issue up and who continues to mention him on Letterman and at the Al Smith Dinner, making fun of him in various ways?

18. Joe The Plumber's
real name is Sam. Why isn't McCain calling him Sam The Plumber? Sam The Plumber was a Mafia kingpin in the 60s and 70s. What else is John McCain hiding? The American people have the right to know about McCain's Mafia connections. We deserve full disclosure regarding John McCain's connections to organized crime.
Some people are saying John McCain worked as a Mafia torpedo when he returned from Vietnam.

19. The next president will have to act immediately and...
without thinking.

And leave Joe alone? Come on. The lies, the lies, the
lies... what little respect I have for McCain is dwindling
exponentially.

And Lieberman makes me retch.

Ugh.

You're pretty much looking at the reason people thought "There was no difference between Bewsh and Gore" in 2000.
