She is a sweet lady that has made it on her own. She is southern and loves people, and was probably teasing about cooking that stuff for the Obama's because they are so thin. Of course, I can not eat all the food she cooks or I would be fatter than I am. ;)

17. I have a different perspective on Paula

she was at the Bristol Motor Speedway and she is a complete diva. My cousin had to escort her around and she is very demanding. That said, I think that she is a closet Democrat. The article in the paper she was quoted as saying that she wouldn't divulge her political views (at a Nascar crowd,hmmm?. She went on and on about Michelle though. She thinks that Michelle is the bomb. I will forgive her on the diva attitude if that is the case.

18. Paula Dean is a hard working lady!

She is a democrat. And from what members of my family say she is genuine and kind and a work-a-holic. She feels that Michelle Obama has been given a bad time by some of the press and thought a warm and fuzzy would help and show Michelle in a "better" light than the right-wing nut press portrayed her.
