The Rumproast blog covers the utter ridiculous nature of this so well.

Lady Lynn Forester de Laughingstock

Yesterday was not a good day for our ol’ non-elitist pal Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild. Pretty much every media person who was forced to cover the non-story about Lady Lynn throwing her support to John McCain had their irony meters turned on high. Campbell Brown, who has been really good as of late (and, Dan Senor or not, I love that button nose!), heaped buckets of condescension all over the Baroness and later in the evening Rachel Maddow firmly adhered guffaws to the whole ridiculous situation.

1. Bad enough she took a shot at Obama, but she shot down Adlai Stephenson!
Geez, then no democrat, I mean real democrat, can ever make this DINO happy.

9. Lord Rothschild held fundraiser for McCain in March 2008
One would wonder if Lady Rothschild was really backing Hillary or simply "hedging the bets" to make sure whomever got elected would be beholding to the most powerful financial banking family in the world, as her husband appears to be backing John McCain.

McCain Backed by Rothschilds - Washington Post
Sunday, March 16th, 2008

Sen. John McCain plans at least one campaign event on his week-long congressional trip to Europe and the Middle East: a March 20 fundraiser in London. An invitation sent out by the campaign says the luncheon will be held at Spencer House, St. James’s Place, “by kind permission of Lord Rothschild OM GBE and the Hon Nathaniel Rothschild.” Tickets to the invitation-only event cost $1,000 to $2,300. Attire is listed as “lounge suits.”

The fundraiser will be limited to Americans, as foreigners are not permitted to donate to presidential candidates.

and allow for access skin folds to be carefully concealed.

2. She would be one of the very first "up against the wall"
in the coming "class war".

Her "class" declared war on my "class" (everyone with a net worth of under $1 M) quite some time ago.

18. Another Oxy-Moron
If Obama is going to lead a "class war", and I assume she means Obama would lead the bitter prols against the bourgeoisie by taking away Bush's tax breaks from her, how can she then call him an elitist in the same breath?

This is one bitter woman.

Where is Hillary in all this? Why has she not come out publicly and forcefully to denounce all PUMA groups and elitist asshats like Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild?

Sometimes it seems that she is only dipping her foot into the pool for Obama, doing the minimum required. Is she hoping for Obama's defeat so she can try again in four years? And where is Bill? He has disappeared off the map. I thought the Democratic convention was going to be a launching pad for Bill and Hill to leave behind their disappointments and begin to work hard for the candidate.

A good start would be to publicly disassociate themselves from any past supporters who now back McSame. But maybe they are thinking that they just might need those same supporters in four years time.

20. I'm not even going to listen to the rest of her bullshit...
I heard about 2 minutes of it and here's what came to mind;

1. "elitist" = "uppity" code word.(since this was explained to me last night)
2. Racist
3. They are jealous of Obama's intelligence and his oratory skills. They are also jealous of his ability to captivate people.

The in-breeding of the banking families over the centuries seems to show...

23. OMG. She used the term "rednecks" to describe people in small towns.
She criticizes Obama's communication skills while filibustering Brown and speaking with her nose stuck up in the air. She thinks all of America needs to hear what she has to say because her opinions are eminently more important than those of the great unwashed masses. But Obama is the "elitist".
