1. Gag - that male "reporter" couldn't be
any more in the tank for Palin.

He tries to indicate that the bus vandalism was just a rumor and probably not true, then acknowledges that they were juveniles and their names weren't ever released.

3. Having been a school bus driver, I'm curious about something.
All the school buses I drove used air brakes. I know the smaller, older buses with wheelchair lifts did use normal brakes. What kind of brakes were there on those buses?

P.S. Every bus is pre-tripped in the morning including a full walk-around and check underneath to see if there are any fluids leaking. And a brake check, of course. None of the buses would have gotten out of the parking lot, much less been used to transport kids - so it was an expensive prank one way or the other, but beyond property damage could not have led to injuries, unless they were REALLY sneaky and made a small enough cut that most of the fluid did not leak out right away. Assuming it was fluid. If it was air, they'd never build up any pressure or when it did drop to dangerous levels the parking brake would then be activated.

FWIW (probably not a whole lot)

5. By the way, this 'splains the army stint
better than anything else...

But boy, usually kids that do things like that... parents also face the music... oh wait... the son of a governor... seen this before.

'Xept I refused to change my EMS report... so the DA's son HAD to go see the judge... one of those lucky things where the chief of police also got involved and refused to have THAT record changed either. We both hated drunks behind wheels

6. It was an expensive 'prank' from the reports. Not only were the
buses vandalized, the head brat was caught with booze purloined from the liquor store and other smaller offenses. I have little doubt that Palin arranged for her son to join the army instead of jail time. She had had quite a time not being able to control her kids from boozing, drugging and unprotected sex.

7. Well then this brings up a more important question:
If you can't manage the most important thing in your life (your kids), how're you gonna manage an entire country?

8. Didn't he say that the prank wasn't on the air IN ALASKA? If I heard correctly, doesn't
that say it all?
