BUSH LEAGUE JUSTICE: Former Judiciary Committee counsel Julian Epstein states that Republicans will admit, off-camera, that the Don Siegelman case was fixed. Epstein also states that Karl Rove "incriminated" himself today in failing to answer some questions today posed by a House Republican.

7. The most disturbing thing is they said they will take Rove to court. WOT
Why don't they just write him a stern letter and get it over with. :boring:

be done in for good! Can't happen a minute too soon.

9. Wow. So in an effort to save their party, they're willing to throw Rove under the bus.
The question is, should this opportunity be exploited?

They're indicating that they would like to distance themselves from the Crooks in Chief, but should the Democrats play ball? Would it feel better to nail these guys or keep the Republicans wallowing in the muck for at least a decade?

Fascinating political drama here, thanks for posting.

10. So I get this image of the Republican gand throwing Rove under the bus
and then discovering that they're all hooked together in the same chain gang. Rove goes under the wheels--Yank! the next one goes; Yank...

What a wonderful image to start the day with.

11. Yep, keep after the rat bastard Rove. I wondered while listening to this video
...if the husband of Attorney Canary was of could be subpoenaed to appear and testify under oath to the committee? Bring him in and ask what Rove talked to him about and when. For that matter bring all witnesses who were in the loop and get to the bottom of this.

12. OP subject is misleading, but good news nonetheless.
The subject is accurately "Dem thinks Republicans will admit off camera ..." but I doubt they will admit one iota!!

Yes, Rove is again being cleverly deceptive in his limited admissions, basically to supply the base with talking point denials. He has done it before and conned many, but his credibility is wearing out completely!

Transcript and some reflections on KARL ROVE's non-denial = re Siegelman

13. Doesn't matter.
No one will be held accountable.
The crooks will be allowed to walk away with their loot absolutely free and unimpaired.

The Democratic Party establishment will close ranks with the Republican Party establishment to protect the system (their money machine).

The faces on the TV will change, but the game will remain the same.
There will be some Media performances by high ranking celebrityDems mugging for the cameras saying words like "accountability" and "justice" ...but absolutely NOTHING will be done.

If we are really lucky, there will be a few "Whitewashes" labeled as "Investigations" or "Commissions", but they will be NOTHING but strictly choreographed Circuses to keep the peasants entertained.
No Rich White Men will be held accountable for anything.

Just like 1992.

14. GOP members should be getting sick of themselves about now . . . .
and I think the Newt Gingrich effort to shore them up and get them back into robot-like

positions may show that they are falling apart.

I'm not saying that they're all showing conscience -- but rather that some of this gets

stuck under their noses and they can't avoid the smell --

Our problems are that the corruption throughout government is so widespread -- and sadly

gets into the Democratic Party as well selling government to corporations and influencial

people with money -- that we need a total sweeping up --

I think this has to begin with getting control of money in elections and I don't see that

we're anywhere near doing that --!!!

19. We know they can only succeed with STEALS and VIOLENCE . . .
and I doubt that those in control behind the scenes are going to get instructions to back off

on that ---

We're in a difficult position of fighting violence with non-violence -- and we have never

actually acknowledged the POLITICAL VIOLENCE IN AMERICA . . . !!!

Imagine that . . . !!!

20. What's not to hate about Rove
But congress thinks they won't suffer if they don't take this rat seriously. In my book, they're complicit if they don't haul Rove's ass in.
