This segment aired on 1/20/1969 (Tricky Dick first day in the WH) ... it contains captured Viet Cong footage of their efforts to win over the farmers and peasents in Vietnam. The segment also focuses on South Vietnam efforts too which Bill Jones notes looks exactly like the North's ... and Jones also points out that unlike the North's the South Vietnamese effort isn't working. Jones concules that this will mean more American troops to "pacify" the country.

Sounds familiar???

Chomsky has it right, when states find that the political effort doesn't work, go to the military one.
