McCain is a fool to court his endorsement and then refuse to distance himself from that kind of intemperate bigotry. We should put two or three very hard-hitting ads involving McCain's pussyfooting with such bigots in the can for use if the polling tightens in September or October.

The mainstream media harped on Rev. Wright for weeks; Hagee therefore is fair game.
