2. Oh, grow up

As a white woman who hit every glass ceiling there was to hit, and who busted through them with room to spare, I am so damn sick of women who fall back on "sexism" when they've simply not accomplished what they set out to accomplish. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and, sure, racism, sexism, ageism, all kinds of -isms are out there and have their effect.

But, for christ's loving sake, shut the hell up and take your defeat like the strong woman we all want to be. Ferraro is the absolute worst of the worst crybabies. She did a great thing, being the vice-presidential candidate beside Walter Mondale, and I heard lots of women say, "Who does she think she is?" and proclaim that they'd never vote for her. They were sexists, all of them.

So, who are you gonna be mad at when your "sexism" excuse doesn't work, Geraldine?

her argument basically boils down to if you don't vote hillary or support her campaign then you're sexist. Time for some growing up in those Hillary supporters that are using sexism as an argument.

Sex plays a part in the campaign, Race does too, but those breaking glass ceilings know that in order to break them one has to push past that and be the firts one to do it or the ceiling won't break.

Obama has managed to fight on and raise himself above the fray, knowing that he has to be better than the white guy to succeed, it's not fair, but them's the breaks. Clinton needed to rise above it as well, but her campaign sees it as another move in the kitchen sink strategy and has shown that she is willing to stoop to any low to make her case. And be very certain that Ferraro is not doing what she is doing on her own, Clinton's campaign is well aware of the mud she slings and iis tacitly endorsing it (otherwise Clinton would publically call Ferraro out)

12. Preferring another candidate=sexism

Bad people who are sexist because they don't support Senator Clinton: "all the surrogates that they had out there," "Black journalists," "the entire media."

But Sean Hannity is OK, because "It's not sexist, he just does not like Hillary Clinton under any circumstances." So not supporting Clinton is sexist, but only if a Democrat does it. That sounds like a great argument to go and make to the superdelegates.

She is right about one thing, being "like a lunatic" right from the beginning of the campaigning.

"Hillary was 'beat up" by the media.. or Tim Russet to be more precise. Remember when Bill said

on the campaign trail "Did you see how the media beat up on Hillary last night? Over her

comments on Bosnia?"

As a woman (here we go) who HAS been beat up.As a child, a teenager, a young wife. I know what it's

like to feel a belt on my ass and legs, to be dragged by my hair across rooms and once up a flight of stairs

(that's when i decide i would not be a victim anymore). That was a long time ago but something inside me still

hurts in a cellular molecular level, i guess.

The point being, Ms. Ferraro, please refrain from equating media asking tough or irrelevant questions

with being beat up. There is no comparison. Same with Obama coolly flicking off the dust of weeks of

attacks from the Kitchen Sink Offensive. He's cool and she would like to be (if only she could've

had good advisers) but Geraldine Ferraro is definitely not.
