Union leaders jailed as 'terrorists'

Trade unionists in Pakistan and Ecuador need our help today.

In Pakistan, six trade union leaders have been jailed on spurious 'terrorism' charges. The International Textile, Garment and Leather Workers Federation has launched a global online campaign to demand their release. In Ecuador, a government crackdown on public sector workers has led to violent attempts to remove protesting workers. There are fears that up to 150,000 workers will lose their jobs.
