2. Better yet - DON'T

I don't disparage anyone supporting a filibuster attempt, but don't "send a one-word email". That may be emotionally satisfying but it's not the sort of message that any elected official, even one sympathetic to your cause, is going to pay much attention to. Take a minute and think of onereason why this position is important and write it in your message, then send it. The more your message is personalized, the more attention it's going to get.
