HEADLINE: "Laura Bush visits St. Charles' treatment center"
"The minimum ticket price was $420" :eyes: Does ANYBODY think about ANYTHING in this administration?

======

Two patients at the Preferred Family Healthcare facility, Justin, left, and Chris, listen to Laura Bush. Justin and Chris are patients in treatment for marijuana use.

Laura Bush, wife of President George W. Bush, visited with five teenagers who are overcoming addictions to various drugs during the first stop of a regional visit today, a visit that included a campaign event for U.S. Sen. Jim Talent.

At the Talent event, about 400 hundred faithful Republicans greeted Mrs. Bush, who lauded the senator as "a very important member of the U.S. Senate. . . (who) truly represents the values and priorities of this great state."

She said Talent has helped the administration in its war on terrorism: "Jim understands the sacrifices made by our armed personnel." Talent was not in the ballroom to hear the praise because he remained in Washington to chair a defense subcommittee meeting and to be present today for a likely vote on an immigration measure.

Aides said that he had intended to be in town for the fund-raiser before his duties had intervened. About $200,000 was raised at the luncheon. The minium ticket price was $420, but some paid more to attend a private reception with Mrs. Bush and have their picture taken with her.

7. I was thinking the typist
That the ticket price was $400 and whoever typed up the article stuck in the $420. Whichever, it's a riot.

Likes the money, but doesn't want to be seen with any relative of a spokesman for the BFEE.

Plus I've never seen a woman who looked more like she needed a toke that that frozen zombie freak excuse for a . . .

Oh well, I'm sure the fact that she wants people to think that she cares counts for something . . . not much . . . but something.

10. Apparently Laura has learned the EYE-talian Scalia 'FU' sign.

Funny. She is wearing the same dress and making the same gesture as the pic I made above, but my pic was based on one from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and is years old.

Hmm... maybe she is a robot... one of many, each one wearing only one dress.

11. Ah, the sweet smell of hypocrisy in the morning.
That is truly rich.

I've heard that she could twist one up faster than a cat can lick its ass . . .

And that her husband is a huge bogart. . .

15. Don't those two "kids" look thrilled to be there?
There's one thing on their minds at that moment...."man, do I need a blunt"! There's a million and one addictions worse that being a stoner. The war on drugs, how's that working out? How many years and how many billions (trillions?) have been wasted on another unwinable war? Asshats! :grr:

Actually she's the best anti drug message there is.
"Give those drugs up NOW or you'll become just like ME!!
And you might even turn into a Rep-ugly-can! MUAHAHAHA"
