I say the words of Jesus himself are enough ammo:

"Blessed are the peacemakers"

is a good start.

4. nnah it didn't work, but the guillotine has created 200 years of peace
in France

just kidding... even if there is kind of a truth in it. The French Revolution was anticlerical, because the priests sided with the power. In the US the priests sided with the new power, you see where it leads.

The first measure I'll take if I was a president backed by a congress majority, is to abolish the tax deduction for ALL churches and propose a clear amendment of separation. After a couple of years they would STFU.

13. In the US
the clerics were divided in the Revolution -- if that's what you mean.

Anglican clerics tended to be Tories. Presbyterians tended to be rebels. (It has sometimes been called the Presbyterian rebellion). Methodists, who were a faction of Anglicans at start, established their own church here in the States. The few Catholics kept a low profile, I think.

21. Fartwell would give the Lion a heart attack with all his fflab
and Robertson would give the Lion a bad case of indigestion due to the huge amount of hot gass, chutzpah and hubris in good ol' Marion!

24. Watch those two cowards suddenly turn Gnostic if lions
returned! (The Gnostics didn't believe that martyrdom served any purpose if Christian Gnostics were being killed off.)

28. that's really slowed down Falwell & Robertson
On so many issues - quoting the Bible at them. They just ignore your quotes because they think you're a heathen or pagan for opposing their correct view of the Bible.

they want it, they got it from me. I'm sick of the little pinheaded dumbass self-righteous freaks dictating their sick "morality," simple-minded bullshit, and ignorant beliefs to the rest of us.

11. Matzoh and matzoh ball soup, blintzes, Manischewitz wine, kinishes
Bagels with lox and cream cheese. And, definitely "Tofutti Ice Cream."

Joke about Matzoh Ball Soup - Bushie goes to a temple for a banquet, and the soup is Matzoh Ball Soup. Bushie stares at it quizically for a few moments, asks what it is, and then risk a taste. He discovers that it's good. Then he asks "What do you do with the rest of the matzoh?"
