Question that reporters should have asked Bush:
"A recent survey of US troops serving in Iraq showed that nearly 90% believe that a reason for the war is to punish Saddam for his role in 9/11. Do you have any idea how almost all of the troops that you command in-chief developed this false impression?"

1. Bush response: "I disagree with your premise."
Like THAT answers anything. He's starting to tag all tough questions with that. Must be a Rovian technique.

4. Yes, he would almost certainly reflexively reach for that excuse,
at which point he would sound so ridiculous that even the polite to a fault MSM would laugh him off the stage.

2. you're right . . . that would be a good one.
And since, I'll wager, Helen Thomas isn't going to be getting a shot at him soon, somebody else is going to have to step up to the plate. They sure are a bunch of pathetic sucks . . .

3. They should ask him what Chertoff said
when Bush asked him, "What are all those trailers doing still sitting there?" Then Bush went on a rant about Big Government, he is the Big Government, answer the question, what are all those trailers doing still sitting there? This was from today's Press Conference.
Or they could ask him, you define Freedom of the Press, by shutting off Helen Thomas' mike
when she asked a question that you did not like?
