now is not the time of century to worry abt debt, penny-pinching will just cost us more in the long run later as if we haven't learned that already, thank you army corps of engineers who f'd up our levees

landrieu nay, vitter yea, however, as the reality was that the debt ceiling needed to be raised and landrieu's vote was more a vote of solidarity w. the other democrats and nothing that was going to harm us and change the outcome, i got no problem w.
