I watched CNN cover this movie earlier today and they hated it! So I checked it out at this link. I sounds very intereting .....

VALLEY OF THE WOLVES IRAQ

A record breaker on Turkish TV for three seasons and now a phenomenon, “Valley of the Wolves” is now preparing to shake the world with the movie…

The story begins with a true story: “The Hood Event”… On 2003, the 4th of July, allied American forces come to the unofficial, half-secret Turkish headquarters consisting of eleven people. The Turkish soldiers suppose that this an ordinary visit from their allies. But this time it is different. In the changing conjuncture, America wants to be the only power “calling the shots”. To them, there is no place for Turks in the region any more…

That day, eleven soldiers are deported with hoods on their heads with no respect to their soldiership dignity and in front of the region’s people…

It’s all truth up to this point in the movie…

In the story based on facts, Suleyman Aslan is one of those eleven soldiers. As first lieutenant, Suleyman, can’t reconcile being insulted and surrendering with his honor. Therefore, he commits suicide and leaves a letter behind.

3. The Daily Show covered it too. Seems there is a scene where

someone complains that a truckload (semi) of refugess or prisoners will sufforcate in the heat as their truck crosses the desert. The American GI pulles out his gun - riddles the whole truck with 300 rounds and says.."now they won't sufforcate".

Looks like crap all the way around.

13. CNN aren't the only people that hate it.

I hate it too. It portrays all the Americans as simple minded, barbaric baby killers on par with the Nazis. Then you have the evil Jewish doctor who is stealing organs to sell in Israel and even more ridiculous shit. This is flat out garbage intended to do nothing more than fan the the already high flames of hatred against America and Israel. Things are bad enough with the reality of the situation, putting out propaganda bullshit like this only makes things worse.
