| Lou Dobbs Preview of tonight's program |
|
He mentioned how the UAE representative said that they understand that the US is a democracy. Dobbs then said it's too bad the Bush Administration doesn't and used the terms "Imperialists" or something like that, and said he'd be discussing this on the program. Sounds like a great show for labeling Bushco as the imperialists the rest of us know they are.

| 1. Lou's had some GREAT shows lately! |
|
I know he's either a Pub or a Libertarian, but I find myself agreeing with him ALL THE TIME!
I can't say that he hasn't uttered a few things that I say "Awe comeon Lou" to but for the most part, I agree with him, and he sure doesn't worry about saying "This Administration is nuts!". That's a whole lot better than most other show hosts are willing to do!

| 5. A guy like Dobbs should run for President as a 3rd Party candidate |
|
He might draw away a few Republican votes from old-style conservatives. I'm not saying I would vote for him, as I think I may not agree with him on many domestic issues. But Dobbs does seem to show concern for the working man and absolutely slapped down John Fund when Fund tried to blame the Dubai Ports deal on the Unions and the high cost of labor (Fund's reason for why U.S. companies didn't try to bid on the contract). Dobbs strikes me as an oldtime Republican in the mold of Dirksen or Ike, more concerned with the common man than with political power and money. I also have to applaud Dobbs for always treating John Murtha with great respect when he appears on his show. It seems to me that Dobbs has changed his mind about the Iraq war, which he previously seemed to support.

I had too many phone calls, kids that are hungry, husband coming home, "where's the pizza?" and now we are watching PBS NewsHour.
