This looks like a very heartwarming picture about WWII and the sacrifices given up during this. I don't know about you but I always loved hearing my grandfather talk about his past and stories of him growing up. He had two brothers who died at sea during WWII fighting Nazi's and while I never got to know them I'm glad he had fond memories to share with me. He was in the navy himself even though he never saw combat luckily. :) I still enjoyed his stories of being on the ship and his experiences (if you're wondering he didn't like Bush at all but loved FDR and had sparkles in his eyes whenever he talked about his memories of him).
