3. Is "the port deal" really that important to Dubai

somebody in the bush administration is making a whole lot of money off of it, but for the company? how many ports worldwide do they operate? is this a huge increase in their business or just a drop in the bucket?

I don't think that UEA has Bin Laden to turn over, but even if they do, is this what they'd spend that chip on?
