It's always someone else's fault.
You know it's been 5 years. It's not like Bush just started ignoring renewable energy.

The president blamed the conflicting message on an appropriations mix-up in funding the Energy Department's National Renewable Energy Laboratory, which is developing the very renewable energy technologies the president is promoting.

4. I love the way CNN and other outlets are telling the TRUTH on
this one (well, relatively speaking, LOL).

They could have just ignored it like they do everything else.

5. Bush does NOT support renewable energy . . .
this whole thing is just a publicity stunt to depict him as somehow "enlightened" about the energy crisis . . .

he isn't . . .

Bush is an oilman . . . Cheney is an oilman . . . most of the adminstration bigwigs are oilmen . . . and the only energy policy they support is more profits for the oil companies . . .

everything else is just bullshit . . .

7. Another funny line
Think he knows what ethanol is?

"You're doing great work here," said Bush, who picked up a bottle of clear-colored ethanol and smelled it.

8. He's an oil man & yet the ranch at Crawford is reported to use alt energy
& grey water. Although I'd like to think he actually gives a rat's furry backside about the environment and sustainable energy it and this newest BS of touting advances (that probably have existed for a while or are not as good as he'll push that they are) are just more things that makes me suspicious of his motives since I seriously doubt that he's ever done anything that wasn't either self serving or to help/pay back/bribe a family member/crony. :freak:
