Hagel is the voice of reason here. They are talking about Iran. Hagel is saying how we should move cautiously. How we should have learned from Iraq..... Lieberman is ready to kick ass.

It was especially interesting after I read the post on President Clinton's remarks about Iran....Hagel is saying the same thing...

TO MAKE HAGEL LOOK GOOD TO US!

2. I thought the same thing! Hagel sounds like a Democrat and Lieberman
is repeating the "first we learned about the nuclear threat from Iraq" bullshit as a justification for bombing the hell out of Iran.

Hey Connecticut Democrats -- do what you can to put LaMont in there instead of Lieberman.

10. A great suggestion. I'll send some cash and also some good vibes
to the LaMont campaign.

I would not miss Joe Lieberman one iota.

3. I can only assume...
that Lieberman is so guided by his support for Israel that he perpetually wears blinders to the issues that are in conflict to his strong zionistic principles. Less anyone think my comments reflect a negative connotation towards support for Israel (much less towards Jews), that is NOT the case. My point is only that one can support Israel in a balanced way that takes into account other issues. Lieberman is essentially a Likudist.

7. Absolutely!
I think the "anti semite" button gets pushed sometimes when anyone suggests that Israel shouldn't be OUR top priority.

It isn't our top priority. And it isn't anti-semitic to say so.

Thanks

5. Lieberman needs to shut his mouth. I hate it when he spews
national loyalty on foreign policy. The policy is wrong and our country is going to be sold out!

6. Hagel is not on board for wiretapping, believes in Constitution.
Hagel expoused how they are CO-EQUAL branches of government. The Executive SHARES power with the Congress. Damn, I like him....Wolf didn't even ask Joe.
