Yahoo, Google, and China
My wife and I were just listening to NPR about google's decision to censor the internet in China. Although we disagree with the decision, we find it much less offensive than Yahoo's decision to help China identify and jail dissidents. Our family email is a yahoo account, but we are strongly thinking of changing to a google email account. I know that this story is much more complex and we were only able to pay attention to the newstory while preparing and feeding breakfast to our two small children. What are we missing? Is anyone else considering taking similar action?
