Ya think oil companies are scared of the new Democratic Congress?

Gas prices have been steadily dropping since the Novemeber elections when the Democratic party took control of both the House and Senate.

Since they have taken office in January, prices continue to slide downward.

Under Republican control, oil companies were given unfettered price hikes without fear of investigation by congress. In fact, our great Republican controlled congress went out of their way to give tax breaks, credits and drilling rights to the oil companies swimming in record billions of dollars in profits.

How low will they go and will it prevent investigations into the gouging of American consumers for the last 6 years?

boosting oil costs with speculation. It doesn't hurt that the economy is in the toilet, either.

Congress isn't the spur. Congress is the instrument of punishment....(hehehe)
