Fox news poll: Americans dislike Bush more than Cheney
Bwahahahahahaha

This has to be a milestone: A new poll has found that the American people dislike President Bush more than they dislike ... Dick Cheney. The poll -- by Fox News, of all people -- finds that President Bush's unfavorable rating is 58%, while Cheney's unpopularity rating is five points lower at 53%. Bush can, however, still take some small solace from the fact that his approval rating is one point higher than Cheney's; the President's is 38%, while the VP's is 37%.

1. Those approvals are implausibly high
John Zogby has Bush at 30% and didn't Cheney used to be in the high teens?

5. If 10% of the people were die-hard Republicans...
and had been living in a cave, out of touch for the last six years... Even then, an approval rating greater than 10% (including the whole country) would be too high (sick and wrong)--if we're talking what they deserve**....

**since I mentioned the word "deserve", it has to be mentioned that if they got what they deserved, polls would be the least of their problems... potentially permanent imprisonment with torture without access to counsel or the outside world comes to mind.

6. Sure, but they'd probably still prefer to go hunting with Dubya.
