Larry King regarding Fox News "They're an extension of the Republican Party"

http://www.suntimes.com/entertainment/elfman/213498,CST-FTR-elf17.article

<snip>

On whether Fox News is a news channel: "They're a Republican brand. They're an extension of the Republican Party with some exceptions, (like) Greta van Susteren. But I don't begrudge them that. (Fox CEO) Roger Ailes is an old friend. They've been nice to me. They've said some very nice things about me. Not (Bill) O'Reilly, but I don't watch him."

1. I begrudge them that when they call themselves Fox News and not Fox Opinion.

3. CNN ain't much better.
it's not like Larry King has gone out of his way to blow the many Bush lies off the planet at every step along the way. He should shut his pie hole. We are in this shit because CNN and the rest refused to DO THEIR JOBS before invasion.

4. Alot of people forget Larry King's Overnight Radio Show
That started in 1978; for most of the 80's he was a huge voice for liberals on his show, and near the end of his run when Limbaugh became popular there was a longstanding feud between them that got ugly a few times.

The TV show pretty much runied him and the radio show..

5. Then I guess Larry watches them...
He bragged in 2001 on Imus how he'd enthusiastically voted for Bush in 2000...haven't watched this fossilized serpent since.

9. King is so addle-brained at this point
He must really pride himself on not knowing who his guests are or why they're there, because the questions he asks are ridiculous, and he doesn't even pay attention to the answers.

6. Larry is wrong.
It's an extension of the Republic Party.

7. pot, meet kettle
CNN puts Glen Beck in as their primetime commentator for "headline news", and that's only the most obvious offense against journalistic integrity. Larry King could say the same thing about his home network, frankly.
