Looking for a graph of US War Dead.
Hey folks!

The graphic that I used to use on my main page for US War Dead is no longer being maintained by its author, and I am looking for another graph of deaths over time, and deaths per month to replace it.

Can anybody give me a reference to such a thing?

Failing that, is there tabular data, updated monthly, that I could use to make my own?

1. You can get monthly totals at
http://icasualties.org/oif/

If that doesn't do it for you, send a PM to LynnTheDem - she's one of the DUers who keep the site current. They might be able to provide the data in another format.

4. Hey, you could make an MRTG graph!
just like they graph traffic through internet routers.

5. Hmmm....
I'm not certain how a graph of that format applies to this data set?

6. Two ways
You could do a cumulative graph like the one you used to do,
and/or a graph of casualties per day.

I just thought it would be an easy way to throw up a graph. As that web page says, "Routers are only the beginning. MRTG is being used to graph all sorts of network devices as well as everything else from weather data to vending machines."

7. Is this the graph you've been using?
Where did you hear it won't be updated anymore?

8. Professor Pollkatz has some charts
http://www.pollkatz.homestead.com/

Iraq:
US and "Coalition" Mortality Rate
US Share of Coalition Mortality
Projected Date of 3000 Military Fatalities
Majority Visibility Project's Map of Hometowns
of U.S. Casualties.
Pollkatz map of casualties per capita by state
(Iraq fatalities/million pop) (8 Nov 2004)
