Charlie Rangel needs to sweep his new office for bugs!
I just heard on F*X(ed)News that Charlie has kicked a most understanding "DICK" Cheney out of his office "with a beautiful fireplace".

Being the BFEE inspired cynic that I am - in other words, they are capable of anything - four thoughts immediately came to mind...

1. Charlie needs to have his new office continuously swept for clandestine listening devices! (He should also check whether E. Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis et al - otherwise known as Nixon's plumbers - were recent visitors!!!)

2. Be prepared for right-wing-nut-job accusations of Cheney's murder should he catch a lethal cold due to the loss of his office fireplace.

3. Perhaps he should also call in an exterminator in case of an office bound plague of bug-like locusts... and finally...

4. Before he moves in it should be processed as a crime scene.

1. Didn't we already sweep the Capitol for bugs?
We seem to have gotten rid of a lot of cockroaches already.

2. Didn't Sen Biden find bugs - before his presidential primary run -
and after the dems retook the Senate from the repubs - and that it seemed that those bugs had been in place for awhiel before they were detected?

I would think that not only Rangel should do some bug sweeping.

12. This is why a full review of Bush's illegal wire-tapping program needs to be ...
... thoroughly investigated.

Personally, I don't think the program targets suspected terrorist communications. They way they have defended this fascist endeavor so far raises more questions than were answered.

6. If they found any ....

If they found any, KKKarl Rove would accuse Rangel of pulling a KKKarl Rove.

8. You know what's sad? He should give honest thought about doing this.
I wouldn't trust those fuckers at all. The first thing I'd do is hire an ex-CIA or anyone else that really knows about how to bug an office, and I'd have that place turned inside out.
