* statement: "my [New Yr] resolution is that they'll be safe.
President 666 says his "thoughts" 9that's a stretch right there) are with the troops. "People often ask me if I have a New Years Resolution. My resolution is that they'll be safe"

I heard this on NPR as I rove up to the house this evening. I had planned to get straight to work on some woodturning, but I just had to register my disgust. And it registers on so many levels, that there is not time to do it justice, so let me just say this.

HE'S AN IDIOT !!! More precisely he is a supercillious ass whose ignorance is exceeded only by his verbocity!

If you weren't aware, Mr. President, the concept of a new year's resolution (as generally understood by , well, let's see......EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD ..... is a resolve or determination: to make a firm resolution to do something.

If indeed he had made a resolution that the troops would be safe, then the troops in Iraq would already be on the way home. Out of harm's way.

And that's just the ones still in Iraq. What about those kids like the soldier on the fron of Esquire magazine, or Private Jennings, the PTSD victim at Ft. Carson who is being court marshalled because he couldn't get the mental assistance he needed to cope with the horrors that you subjected him too. Those guys are a long way from safe.

Got to stop typing, I'm about to start crying.

1. Does he not know the difference between "resolution" and, say...
wishful thinking?

3. Exactly what I thought
when I heard that comment. I know, by now I should be steeled against these incredulous comments from the mouth of the beast, but...

2. I agree with you
His inane statements are truly :puke: inspiring. The moron has no concept of what making New Year's resolutions mean, because he is utterly unable to detect any behavior of his that he believes needs changing. I'll be glad when this nightmare is over, and we have an actual human for a president.
