2. .
What an adorable family.
While I don't regard him currently as being our best possible choice, seeing him as the President and his wife as the First Lady would truly mark something very special, maybe the beginning of a new America overcoming its past.

20. They are really something special

Thanks Sapphire for sharing the lovely photo with us!

My mother sent him a contribution for his Birthday and he has been sending wonderful family pictures to us since then.

I didn't get this one so it was a real treat to see Family Values in action.

I so hope he runs. My mom is reading Audacity of Hope. She says Obama has blown her away, he knows the Constitution inside and out, he can write like nobody's business, etc. I can't wait to read his book in January.

18. Michelle Obama spoke at a small conference I attended
earlier this month in Chicago. She was the last speaker, and the day was running late. She had to leave before the reception because she had to take her daughter to a rehearsal for The Nutcracker. As a mother and as a professional woman, I admire her priorities.

I don't have anything of substance to add re: Barack, just that I was really impressed with his wife. :-)

19. please, can you...
credit the photographer? As a picture taker myself... i know how difficult portraiture can be. It's a good shot.

They all kinda look lazy and contented, like they just had a really great meal. Sun setting behind, they must have used fill lighting, maybe an umbrella or lightdisc with flashe(s). It takes skill.

Keep at it Blue, i love your work.

Happy holidays all!

33. ahh...
that makes sense. She's real good at shooting languid. Sometimes i wonder whether she dopes her subjects.

Thanks for crediting, though i was hoping it would be an unknown. Leibovitz gets plenty of work... and at like 10 Gs (and much more dependant on the client) a gig.

Happy holidays everyone!

He is intelligent enough to have a family and a political career at the same time.

Now GW is the one that should have taken time off for his twins.
They could all be in Rehab together.

I am also an Obama person and want him in the running in 2008, although I will hate losing him as a Senator. What I am not sure of is, what position I want him in: P or VP. I would rather have him as VP if there is someone else joins the field that is support worthy, because serving as VP would keep him away from some of the attacks and give him time to prove himself to the doubters. If the field stays as it is, then I will want him for P above any of them. I am waiting until the candidates are decided, and then I will chose.

I volunteered for him in 2004, and would do so again if I was healthy enough. I love both Illinois Senators: Durbin and Obama.:loveya:
