Democracy Now - on C-Span tomorrow with Bryan Lamb. Watch
or listen to her show from today - Bell shootings in NY and Homeland Security descent on workers at Swift Meat Packing company locations. Watch, if you can, because Amy Goodman and Juan G are showing new film on the Bell shooting that you may not be seeing on right wing cable/sat corporate tv - at least today (until they have a chance to come up with the spin to accompany it). The lawyer guests on the Mexican worker raid also provides new insight about handling and legalities.

How long has this been going on?

No one goes after the employers – we went into this current charade after decades of turning our heads away and letting the corporations have their way.

No one goes after the people who forge documents.

We're all about pulling the carpet out from under these people after decades of illegal entries and subsequent employment. They were welcomed by many.

The evolution of hating in America ?

Mexicans/Latinos - the new Moslems.
Moslems - the new Black-Americans
Black Americans - replaced various immigrant groups
Immigrant groups - replaced Native Americans

Should we say that we've managed to put a fuzzy curtain over the hate that is America?

Or should we honor and thank those who have tried to right the abuses and those who are presently trying to help these people and save our Constitution from further deterioration and theft by politicians attempting to serve haters? Should we honor and thank those who have fought this by believing in what we were taught about brotherhood and all being God’s children and about all being equal as humans?

Or should we say that Mexicans/Latinos/Moslems/Black Americans are easier targets for the program of taking away all our rights in this country?

I have reverted to thinking about how this country could be divided officially. Let the right wing come up with their own immigration rules and let them keep their Homeland Security, Patriot Act, criminal politicians, PNAC, and the Corporations who organize outside the U.S. to avoid U.S. rules on pollution, employment and compensation rules and park their profits outside the U.S.

In addition to race persecution, we're pretty good at religious and political persecution along with gender and child abuse.

Now would those who brag about this country being superior to others on this planet, please explain the ways we are superior?
