"We have clearly failed in the last three years to achieve the kind of outcome we want."

Well, well, well, Speaker Gingrich.

Shouldn't Iraq be about, oh, I dunno...WHAT IRAQIS WANT?!?!?!?

1. Does he have a corrupt republican politician in his pocket??
Stop with the "we" shit newt and please run for president. I'm dying to read about your name and public record and personal life being dragged through the mud for two plus years.

2. What about the free speech quote. How will true conservatives feel about
that one?

"different set of rules" may be needed to reduce terrorists' ability to use the Internet and free speech to recruit and get out their message.

3. The insane bastard is considering a presidential run in 2008. Talk about
self-delusion. He's probably one of the few people who thinks he could actually stand a chance in a presidential race. The others are wrapped in straight jackets in padded rooms to keep them from hurting themselves.

Ummm, on second thought, this country elected Ronald Reagan -- twice. And then we let Bush steal it -- twice.

8. Never was about what they wanted
We didn't ask the Iraqi's if they wanted to be invaded. I suspect, even under Saddam, they would have said no. But we didn't ask, we just arrogantly assumed that we had the right to invade, destroy whatever we wanted, and install whomever we wanted.

Right now, I suspect that the average Iraqi would want an end to violence and the removal of US troops. But only the latter is an option for us now.

9. Newty was thrown out of Congress like a bum in a bar.
It's sick how the M$M faun all over him. I would say they should be ashamed, but their jobs are the lowest known form of employment IMO.
