Has anyone read "The Audacity of Hope"
I am looking for opinions.

If you have read it are you more or less inclined to support Obama?

2. I'm about half way through it.
Reading it makes me more inclined to support Obama.

I'm in agreement with his general political philosophy, although I'm concerned that specific policies which he advocates might be an expression of the philosophy which lands a little to the Right of where I'd like to see it. He can be a bit vague on such matters in spots. (Although this is appropriate for the purpose of the book.)

If it came down to choosing between him and somebody like Gore, I'd have to sit down and closely scrutinize their records.

I certainly think he should run though. Even if he doesn't win the nomination, he makes the party look good.

4. He is kind of vague in areas. I think it is because he's smart
enough to see more than one side of an issue.

I agree that he's a good Democrat and therefore good for the Party but I would like to see him get some more experience under his belt before running.

3. I am reading it now. Just finished the chapter on the Constitution.
It's a good book. Love the title. He's very intelligent and quite insightful.
