Sen. Mark Pryor's Office isn't accepting calls. I've tried his
in-Arkansas number and it's been busy since 7AM. The toll-free switchboard numbers get you to the office which is on 'automatic' and the mail box is full, so it just hangs up on you. I have sent two faxes, but don't know if they got through. I declare Sen. Pryor a coward!!

2. I just sent him an email
But knowing Pryor, I won't hear from him for a month or so, and then I'll get a "thank you for your email" generic answer. Can't call him at work, so that's why I emailed him.

3. Lincoln's local voicemail is also full.
I've tried calling both Ark senators today and haven't reached either one. Switchboard is full, lines are busy, local offices won't answer and local mailboxes are full.

I suppose this is all good. But I fear that both of these senators are too timid to stick their necks out. Afraid that the local Baptist preachers will frown at them.

I am a yellowdog Democrat, so I'll probably vote for both of these wusses again, but I won't work for them or support them in a primary if they don't listen to the people who put them in office (which sure wasn't the So. Baptists.)

6. Pryor's Little Rock office was the most hostile I spoke to on Friday
Snippy worker there said, "The Senator won't support a filibuster."

I replied back that the Senator might as well give all his power to the President if Alito and company jam the Unitary Executive tripe down our throats.

Worker also wouldn't answer what's the Senator afraid of when Bush's approval is in the 30s.

Nonetheless, I'll be callling again today.

they could talk to someone from from the Senator's state, rather than someone from Pennsylvania.

15. They aren't real happy with us, either...
seemed quite anxious to get me off the phone after getting my Arkansas zip code. Guess I was making too much sense for them. I still wonder why he didn't just run as a Republican.

12. Any DUer living in Arkansas(?) >>
If you agree, and provide contact info (name/address/zip) we will send a personal lobbyist to Pryor's office today, to speak in your name.

If your Senator appears to be making the only unprincipled, immoral vote -- to oppose BOTH Alito and filibuster -- He needs to be told this in no uncertain terms. This is exactly the kind of thing voters punish candidates for.

If you can be "the client" just PM (or email [email protected] ) with your info and we'll do the rest.
