This is our first in our quarterly seasonal contests and the first time we post the contests in GD. We hope you enjoy and don't forget to vote!

The subject for this contest is SCENES OF AUTUMN.

The top four finishers in each round will advance to the finals, along with the next two highest vote-getters overall.

The preliminary round will run until 12:00 P.M. E.S.T. on November 12th.

18. I love black and white photography, but

when it comes to autumn it leaves something to be desired.

Many of the photos are beautiful, but Until Next Year is AWESOME. The composition, detail, and complicated simplicity make this a topnotch, outstanding photo.
