Their goons will be fine. With the prosperity that results from Democratic control will make them a lot of money.

Here's my analogy. These kids have been playing in the house all day and have messed it up. Now they can go outside and have fun while their parents clean it up. They'll have more fun outside, only in the back of their minds will hope that their parents won't punish them for anything. Of course they'll try to find way of avoiding responsibility for what they did.

Honestly, when their heads FINALLY explode, all those pent up lies and denial systems will create a toxic cloud that could cause serious (I mean series!) harm to normal human beans.
