Kerry Kerry Kerry Kerry Kerry Kerry...

:wtf:

The media are totally shameless. Yesterday, Pakistan blew up 80 sleeping madrassa students because, they said, the US told them al Qaeda big wigs might be in the building. And what the fuck is the media talking about? A pig-ignorant, intentional misreading of Kerry's insult to Bush as an insult to all men and women in uniform.

But why is DU participating in the perpetuation of this nonstory? Okay, you can say I'm participating in it as well; but in my defense, I would like to point out that everyone seems to be missing the real October outrage of campaign 2006: The murder of 80 Pakistanis, apparently, because Rove-Bush-Cheney thought it was worth the risk on the slimmest of slim possibilities that Bin Laden or Zawahiri would be among the dead. All the media should be looking into this now, instead of wasting their time and ours on a MAJOR nonstory.

:grr:

1. The story NOW is that the focus groups have given us permission to fight back
Apparently, having a backbone tests well in the most important demographics, and we're not going to put-up with this bullshit anymore.

2. I think we would all be saddened and outraged by a poll of
what Americans would think of blowing up 80 brown school children in madrassas.

About the same amount they worry about 600,000 plus Iraqis being evaporated.

4. That certainly is one reason why it will be next to impossible
to get the media to focus on this. If Europeans hadn't also been killed in the 2004 tsunami, that story would probably have disintegrated in a day or so as well.

3. it sure is telling...
about how much a part of the contrived reality we all are. I get so easily sucked in...and don't even realize until the dust settles. Life without the spectacle...can you imagine?
