I have never worked for a campaign until this week
I have always voted. I hung a Kerry Edwards sign in my window for a week in 04. I started online donations to the DNC and others this year.

But until this week, I have not felt the incredible feeling of volunteering for a campaign. Wow.

I have spent every evening this week volunteering for the Duckworth campaign.

I spend 3 or 4 hours a night doing computer data entry. I put papers in folders. I print out maps for canvassing. I help fix computers and printers. It may not sound like much. But it is what I can do instead of sitting home after work and watching TV.

It is a tremendous feeling knowing that I am really out there, I am really making that EXTRA effort working for a better America.

They are right. All Politics is local.

We have 1 week left. Please find your local candidates office and do something. Anything.

It is such a great feeling being part of such a worthy cause.

7. thank you!
I know just what you mean. I have never worked for a campaign until this year, but I've been involved in Bryan Kennedy's campaign since March.

I never knew how much campaigns depend on volunteer support, or that its a chance for great creativity, or that there is an endless amount of work to do.

Its going to feel weird when its over.

11. IT SOUNDS LIKE A LOT TO ME!! That's excellent!! It does feel so
good, too. It's tiring, it's hectic at times but the buzz of activity gets addictive. See if you can get your hands on some of your candidates' stickers and wear them as you do your errands. I have, and I've had people ask if it's election day, they don't know early voting has started and it gets us started on a conversation about the changes our candidates are going to make. Have fun and good luck!!
and THANK YOU!!!!
