Meanwhile Lamont and Schlesinger will hold a fourth debate at Quinnipiac College on Nov. 2, Lieberman has declined to appear and Sen. Barack Obama sent a e-mail to 5,000 of his supporters in CT. supporting Ned Lamont.

to find the article re: all of this just google "Joe Lieberman" or "Ned Lamont"

1. What is wrong with that woman?
She should be ashamed. I read that article yesterday and she said Liebermen was the first person she called after Katrina hit her state and he was a "voice of calm in a sea of confusion and he knew exactly what to do to get her state help." (paraphrased) That's reason enough to turn against her party? Shame on her.

2. Well, what the hell did Lieberman do? Nola still
flooded, people still died, people are still homeless. Did she ask St. Joe to part the waters so people could escape?

4. I never did much like her, but I didn't really dislike her either.
That has changed. When I Dem doesn't stand with a Dem in an election, they can go to hell!

5. So a Democratic senator is campaigning for an opposing party?
Shouldn't there be consequences in the party for pulling some bullshit like this?

I mean, if you're a Democratic senator, shouldn't you be supporting the god damned candidate the Democratic voters selected in the primary?

7. link to article:
http://www.boston.com/news/local/connecticut/articles/2006/10/26/lamont_gets_lift_from_obama_lieberman_campaigns_with_landrieu/

Landrieu and Lieberman met voters and ate lunch on plastic plates at Hartford's Rajun Cajun restaurant. Landrieu enjoyed the jambalaya. Lieberman had macaroni and cheese.

"We got good food today," Landrieu said. "We're going to have a better homeland security system tomorrow because of Joe Lieberman."
