7. That's the truly unbelievable part, isn' it?
He likes to pull out the copy he carries in his vest pocket while speaking on the Senate floor. I guess it really doesn't mean that much to him after all?

11. Byrd is voting yes for Alito
I have some friends in WV who all are Democrats ... but to talk to them, they come across as farther right than FlimFlambaugh sometimes ... maybe Byrd is responding to WV voters. It sure seems strange, though ... he's always been one of the good guys.

And will lose the war doing it.

90% of the calls he got were from Alito supporters. His staff told me that... I was too late. I tried. I should have called yesterday.

17. Please tell me that he didn't say that in his remarks, please?
I quit watching for a while and if he said this I think I'll go find the place that's popular for jumpers who are in a fit of despondency.

16. Not unlike the bible, you can wave the Constitution around.
He's a conservative. And he used to be a member of the KKK. His core inner self has not changed. I'm saddened. Women will suffer greatly, for what these men are about to do. It's not a sane country. And DU cannot change America by itself.
