5. $50 to McCaskill in MO
It's the most I've ever donated politically, and more than I can easily afford. I'm up to my ears in debt, and working 2 jobs plus attending grad school...

My fiancee makes virtually no money since losing her programming job at the beginning of the IT sector crash...

Thanks to the Bush economy.

6. I kind of wish that you had
made a seperate catagory for zero. There is a difference between giving nothing and giving what you can afford, which for some of us is not much.

9. I hold both a DNC "Democracy Bond" and a "DFA Trust" card. . .
those go to people who contribute an amount of $$ each and every month.

In addition, I've also given to several individual campaigns, thru their websites.

10. I have a running donation to Moveon.org until the election is over
and I've been donating to people who NEED my money.....Like: Lamont, Menendez, Webb, Pavich (running against Weller here in my District) George Miller to help him in his law suit that BONER filed against him. I donate to Truthout.org. I also just gave, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, to the DCCC (they will MATCH your donation!!!! 3-to-1!!!! GO DONATE!) and the DSCC. The Dems need our money more than ever now!

12. if you'd like to direct some loose change to a close but winnable race . . ...
please consider contributing to John Hall in New York's 19th District . . . he's challenging six-term incumbent Sue Kelly, and is doing surprisingly well . . . but it's still a close race, and Kelly has TONS of PAC money for tv ads, while John is relying almost exclusively on individual donations . . .

John Hall will make a great congressman, and contributions will be well-spent and greatly appreciated . . .

Thank you for your kind consideration . . . :yourock:

16. I've given them myself, we're a one income family so there's not
loads to go around but I've given more of myself than I ever thought I'd give up to politics. It's been worth every minute. Does supplying goods to our Headquarters count?

Toilet paper for the bathroom: $6
Hand soap for the bathroom: $4
Bottled water for our lovely volunteers: $20
Giving time that I don't really have to a Democratic candidate who cares about his district: Priceless
