I think * press conference is a show of fear
Edited on Thu Jan-26-06 10:28 AM by Marnieworld
They are afraid of the filibuster so they are pre-emptively spinning against it. They are afraid of the NSA scandal so they are spinning against it. He absolutely hates speaking to the press even with his prepared statements. Taking questions? He despises and all of his handlers know he's a disaster. They only do this when absolutely necessary for them.

on edit: watching him and listening now- he is just such a lying douchebag. Such an embrassment. When will this nightmare end?

4. Press conference?
I just got here--did I miss something? Is the chimp going to take real questions from real reporters? Nah, it'll never happen.

5. It's happening at this moment
on c-span at least

He's even making the effort to lie to reporters. Isn't that sweet?

6. What if he starts an on-the-air filibuster of his own?
5PM - reads "My Pet Goat" three times

8PM - reads "The Fart Book" three times

11PM - rambles incoherently about clearing brush

3AM - re-reads "My Pet Goat" several times

6 AM - Jenna and Barbara, on their way home from partying, stop by to share a few giggles with their dad.

8 AM - rambles incoherently about clearing brush

etc.

:scared:

7. At least it won't be the stream of lies
that he's spewing right now. His response to questions about the NSA scandal was just blatant lies. That's obscene. More obscene than a fart joke.
