Have more DU'ers seen "Man of the Year" to support Verified Paper Ballots?
Edited on Sat Oct-21-06 08:49 PM by KoKo01
I think it's the second weekend...yet there were few in my theater viewing for Opening Weekend, last week.

Doesn't anyone CARE ENOUGH to pay for a ticket for Hollywood SUPPORTING US VOTER RIGHTS ACTIVISTS?

Can you go and bring your own popcorn?

I know some folks don't like Robin Williams...but it's kind of important to support this movie, if you can do it financially.

2. I saw it last weekend....
As someone who knew Andy Stephenson in real life, it was chilling. I saw it with my sister and brother-in-law, who had met and heard Andy talk about voter verified paper ballots when he visited us for his last Christmas in 2004.

It impacted all three of us.

Andy would have loved it. I happened to see it on what would have been Andy's 45th birthday.

4. I loved it! It was funny and filled me with a bittersweet sense of loss...
thinking about what it would be like to have a REAL president.

Or a real congress.

7. I saw it the first day it opened....
and I thought it was well done. I was surprised that the main point issue of the movie was electronic voting. It definitely highlighted the danger we face.
