1. I just threw up a little.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry anymore. That is one scary picture to see at six in the morning MoPaul!!!

3. Jeez, mopaul, this is just
a little to close to the real thing for comfort. That mad but strangely dull gleam shows in his eyes in every close-up.

I've never lived through such a time in my increasingly long life--and I'm nearly old enough to remember the Berlin blockade, not to mention the Cuban missile crisis.

4. The Cuban missile crisis:
That was the only time I was as scared as I am now.

5. I hear you, muriel--
if I didn't have a spiritual anchor to sustain me, I don't know how I'd be able to face the day without cowering in the corner.

Hard to believe things have come to this. But I try to stay concentrated on the Truth that there is an unseen reason for all things and that all is for the best.

8. Great mom you had, sfex!
Is she still with you? She really knew how to connect with kids--get 'em doing something active, like throwing things at a target, to work off the fear. SG

10. Oh, she's still pushing us around, lol!
She took the whole family -- her brother, me, my baby brother, even my poor grandmother who hated the loud noise from all those pins being hit. She's a pretty cool customer. :)

11. Me too, madokie,
We lived 80 miles west of Omaha, NE, where the Strategic Air Command (SAC) is located, one of the first strike targets for the Soviets.

I remember looking out of the living room, literally scouting the horizon for the first signs of the mushroom cloud.

This is worse because the potential crises loom on every side--domestically and abroad. SG

They gotta' have it all.

The neoKing will be making beans a mandatory meal 3 times a day, if the GOPers think there's a few dollars in it for the petrol-politicians.

22. Tom Laughlin (Billy Jack) says we need to Impeach Bush
""Underneath his mano-a-mano posturing (Bring em on!) Bush is a deeply insecure, frightened little man possessed by a Messianic Complex with all its delusions and fantasies as a compensation to his lifelong fear hed never be the man his father was. Bush, a Mamas Boy, was called The Chosen One, through his childhood by his mother.

An absolute proof that Bushs mental illness has put him out of touch with reality, including the real danger of North Korea having nuclear bombs, is Bush appointing Bolton as Ambassador to the UN one of the most mentally ill, fascist authors of The Bush Doctrine who has viciously vilified the UN and who is the author of the extreme hard line Bush has taken against North Korea which has caused Jong Il to race to develop nuclear weapons.

For the safety of the entire world, we cannot impeach Bush soon enough.

Bush thinks war is a videogame, and hes John Wayne.
