Exactly what it is like to have your head so far up your own ass for so long? This is what, 5 times in a little over a week? Give me a break!

41. Absolutely NOT an accident. But it could backfire. Ford has a lot of
crossover appeal, and I hope some Republicans believe Fox and vote for Ford, thinking they are voting Republican.

Shows what contempt Faux News has for their own Republican viewing audience, and how ASHAMED they are of their own Republican candidates.

I hope this blows up in Fox's face. They are positively criminal!

I don't get that, unless there is some big scandal regarding Corker that I don't know about, and that this would help prevent blowback against the national Republic party.

25. it's to confuse DEM voters?
If you are not up on who's in what political party, and are planning on voting DEM - labeling a DEM as a "R" could mislead you into actually voting for an "R" when you think so'n'so is a DEM

32. Actually, there is:
Corker's actions rankle environmentalists who say he ignored them as mayor. They allege in a Hamilton County Chancery Court suit that the Wal-Mart construction ignored a pre-existing conservation easement, helping ruin the protected 7.8-acre nature area.

"What they did was outrageous. They just ran roughshod over this public property for private gain,'' said Joe Prochaska, an attorney representing Kurtz and the Tennessee Environmental Council.

The site was dedicated for public use in 1996 by a company Corker later bought.

He owned the company in 2003 at the time of the Wal-Mart development.

As mayor, Corker should have disclosed his interest in the property and the adjacent land where the Wal-Mart was built, Prochaska says.

"Why did he allow his monetary interest to trump his commitment to the people of Tennessee?'' the lawyer said.

Mitchell noted that the Wal-Mart controversy was well publicized in the Chattanooga press at the time, and it was understood Corker had an interest in the property.

12. It Seems Like Something Stinks...
...but I don't know what.
I mean, this doesn't really make any sense. What exactly is there to gain to blatantly mislabeling candidates so often? This is what? The 4th or 5th time in about 10 days, at least. It just seems like it's happening to much to be deliberate...but I fail to see any obvious gain here. Maybe to associate Democrats with the bad news people hear about Republicans, but it seems to me that such a gain would be minimal at best and has a great chance of creating a huge backfire.
At best, this just shows the sheer incomptence of Fox News...but, unless it IS the same person making all these mistakes, it adds up to be a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE "coincedence".

At any rate, can anyone name the amount of times this has happened recently?
I can think of Foley on O'Reilly...
Lincoln Chaffee a few days ago...
And now this.
Are there others?

I've noticed in races local to where I am that the Republicans have removed most
indication of what party they represent.

I guess they're embarrassed and if I were running for some office I'd call my

the other weird thing is the flood of snail-mail flyers/spews letters I receive from candidates running in my area - all are from repubs and NONE OF THEM IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS BEING A REPUB

unless you run a google search, or are up on the news - you don't know if the person is a repub or not

MORE votes for Ford???? IMCPO, THIS is a REALLY ignorant move on Faux's part.

Although, people in TN. no doubt know the party affiliation of Ford and Corker. If this is a deliberate move on Faux news' part, it would only inform the non-political, living-in-a-cave repuke and THAT would only help the Dems because those people would vote for Ford thinking Corker is one of them thar Liberal Tree Huggers..no?

We aren't the dumb hillbillies Faux thinks we are. The RNCC and the DSCC have been doing media blitz campaigns. The DSCC commercials are quite good.

And, yes. Corker is under investigation for re-zoning environmentally Protected Property that he bought and sold to Wal-Mart after re-zoning it as Mayor.
