On Olberman last night...
did anyone see the clip where the head of the NSA denied to a reported that the fourth amendment had the words probable cause in it?

What an ass he made of himself. the head of the NSA doesnt even know the fucking fourth amendment. this is scary.

Keith's comment after the clip made me laugh. he said sometthing like, "maybe they a different copy fo the constitution than we do"

1. Yep. Good to see that video on MSNBC.

We've talked about the jerk's remarks and willful ignorance here on DU, but is SURE felt good to see MSM carry it. The man is pretty damned hostile about his ignorance too. Good for more people to see that. It is an image which will wake some more folks up about the fact that the malAdministration does not have ANY intention to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

Maybe we could help some group like MoveOn buy some air time and play that un-American SOB's bare assed attack on the Constitution for more to see and think about.

edit: typo

8. Since Olberman is on MSNBC, the video ran on same
Haven't checked their website for it. Might look at Olberman's Show's page and see if it is there. Or do a DU search on the topic, there were some discussions of the exchange between the idiot and the reporter. Maybe someone posted a link to video?

2. I noticed the gaffe during the live press conference...
...and went to check my copy of the Constitution to see if the General was right. Of course, he wasn't, the reporter asking the question had it right.

I thought it especially ironic that he was blathering on about how if there's any amendment the NSA knows something about, it's the 4th, and then he went on to get it precisely wrong.

Priceless.

6. It was a "potatoe moment" to be sure!

I took note of that when watching the General's press conference live on C-Span. (I went 'WTF!?!?')
Fourth Amendment - Search and Seizure

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

It was astonishing listening to him proclaim how he was such an expert on that amendment above all and that it was the core of his very profession and blah-blah-blah-blah-blah. The absolute arrogance and prideful ignorance was incredible.

11. On further examination, someone had scribbled over the words
"probable cause" with a green crayon in the NSA copy of the Constitution. It has now been proven that the owner of the green crayon lives in Iran. We invade at dawn.

15. What a mean looking turd he was!
It was pretty hilarious when Keith put the actual words to the 4th amendment on the screen. Scary though, if they can't follow the actual Constitution, they'll make up their own as they go along.
