How nice of C-SPAN to get Tom Reynolds mouthpiece on this morning. This moron is getting questioned about Charlie Cook's political numbers and let slip that he thought Democrats could pick up 30 seats. This is the guy who sees the internal polling data and he looks like he hasn't had a good night's sleep in months.

It'll be fun to see how he tap dances around his own relationships with Foley and Reynolds.

While this is very encouraging...we all have work to do. Soon the only way the Repugnicans will be able to "catch-up" is to let us get complacent and think this thing is in the bag. It isn't...and I suspect more dirty tricks and "bombshells" in the 4 weeks to election day.

But for now, I'll enjoy the good news.

He's a major pollster...he sees the numbers and the shrunken eyes say the truth his voice doesn't.

Gotta laugh at how he is trying every cannard with less than conviction describes where the GOOP is.

Interesting to hear the call for a third party. I suspect if the Repugnicans loose control of the House, the ground is ripe for a "populist" like a Perot to come forward...and my greatest wish for 2008 could happen.

At this point, the ears are so high and expectations so large that Democrats win big on Nov. 7 that any "hanky-panky" is going to stand out. That'll especially be the case if there's long lines in Democratic precincts (that could even further supress Repugnican voting) and a lot of screw ups reported with the machines (like we just saw in Maryland...Wynne stole a close election, but it wasn't easy).

The Diebold scenario works best when its hidden within close races...within a couple hundred votes in millions cast...where a few flipped here or there is all it takes...you can't do this when you're behind by thousands. They need to get the fundies out to get the votes close enough and if they stay home, the scheme falls apart.

I think these guys are gonna be exhausted by Nov. 7th...they're expending all this energy and money and still sliding downhill.
